Clan Report Database - Info

Unlike most other clans, |SOG| take misbehaviour of any form in our gameservers, very seriously. Our clan is made up of members that want to play the game as its designed, and that want to combat those who disagree with our stance.

As you may be aware you can report cheating, bad and misbehaving players in this forum. In addition comes our searchable database, which is designed to hold all information on those reports made with valid evidence, and give the community a comprehensive list of those gamers who are proven to cause havoc or upset gameplay in SWAT 4.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

So where can I find it?

Public users can see our database using the URL below. On the left of the page linked, is the DB navigation.

http://www.clanreportdb.co.uk/report/index.php

What does it mean?

Well, as part of our fight to combat bad gamers who ruin SWAT 4, the database lists all those players that are proven to cause grief, misbehave, play against our set rules, and purposely try to destroy the gameplay.

If someone is filed in our database, then our clan gameserver admins will take the action described in the "status" column of the display. Our advice to the community is to be observant at the least, but seriously consider the action recommended in the "status" column in addition to taking note of the information provided.

What do you mean by "Status"?

Simple, in our database usage, this is used to inform everyone of the actions our admins will take in our servers, upon further confrontations with the person concerned. There are 6 status used, and a brief outline of what our admins use is shown below:

Observe Closely = Watch very closely and monitor his / her gameplay to ensure no violations are made. Update the report and database after the event if required. Take appropiate admin action if required.

No Tolerance
= Observe and monitor his / her gameplay closely, but no tolerance is to be taken (on last chance). In other words, take further admin action(s) if one single violation is made.

Inform Senior = Observe but immediately inform a senior member or leader / admin of the clan for support and advice in regards to action(s) to be taken after spotting. If no senior is present or availiable, use status "Observe Closely".

Kick on Sight
= Immediately kick this person on sight or if violations are being made, kick from server.

Ban On Sight = Immediately ban this person on sight as they are not welcome in our servers.

Pending = Waiting leader / senior decison. Use status "Observe Closely" until further notice from senior leader.

How reliable and trustworthy is this database?

Very if you agree with our stance on what is considered good gameplay and distruptive / unnacceptable gameplay.

We only include players in the database that deserve to be entered, by ensuring valid evidence is provided. The records are updated as and when more information is availiable.

Only those who we deem worthy are added.

Who updates the database?

Certified gameserver admins of this clan that conform to our high standards are the only members able to add new records to the database. Higher ranking members oversee this process and update the records when required. Only the leaders of this clan remove any records, and complete every record's advised "status" actions after careful judged thought.

Can I appeal?

If you know someone listed in the database who has possibly been falsely added or if you yourself have been added and would like to be possibly removed, then you may appeal to the leaders by posting in this forum all the details. Your appeal will be taken into account & will seriously be considered if proof or valid agruments can be provided.

Will you add an offender for me?

Sorry not directly, as you need to first report the player and the incident details in this forum. The admins will add your report to the database only if it meets all requirements:

1) Person / offender has been reported for the right reasons in accordance with our stance
2) Person / offender has been reported in this forum using the correct format
3) Valid evidence has been provided in the report eg. screenshots, video etc clearly supporting the violations and report made
4) A valid IP must be present for the person (admins will obtain if possible)

Where do I get help with the DB navigation or further information?

Firstly, you can post your issue or request in the helpdesk forum OR you can contact a leader or senior member of this clan.
