Hey Spawn.


Our TeamSpeak service doesn't use a regular IP adress, as it's hosted on a dynamic (changing) IP adress. Hence you can't use a regular IP

Our server uses what's known as a DNS name to identify where the server is. You simply put the DNS line into the field in TeamSpeak where you'd usually put in the IP.

The DNS adress for the server is :

tctransts.servegame.org:8778

Yes that DNS is correct, however, if that doesn't work the IP is now static as the hoster requires it. 74.220.193.245:8778 is another way to connect if it doesn't work.

Also, Members only is a good place for this, doesn't matter for these type of inquiries. :)

Ah, cool! Didn't know that. :p That'll make my future life NOT explainin why/What/where a DNS is for our TS :D


I moved it because it holds no sensitive information, and Members only is not viewable to forum VIPs who are also allowed to use our TS per permissions, and hence would find this information useful :) You can move it back if you'd rather have it in Members only though ;)
