Question about Rejection

Well I'd like to know what exactly it was i failed on, i can have an educated guess by looking at previous rejections that I possibly wasn't active enough, but was just wondering if there were any other factors that failed me, like perhaps being to immature or killing the VIP too many times...

There are no simple explainations. Read the rules, and try to think which ones you did not adhere to closely enough. ;)

We welcome gamers of all skills and backgrounds to our community. However, when it comes to membership we are extremely selective of who we want in our clan, who to ultimately represent our name, and why.

Having fun is one thing, but it depends on peoples different definitions of that word. Our fun comes as tactical smooth and rule adhering gaming playing the game exactly as it was designed by the developers.

Team killing, team tasing and abusive / innappropiate language are some examples of the behaviours a prospective member of this clan should not be an advocate of.

In relation to your case, all senior members are asked to vote and comment in relation to applicants. The vote outcome was to deny offer of trial due to several reasons which swayed the seniors vote.

Here are just a few main reasons:

- Inappropiate use of language in public servers
- Activity levels

Of course, failiing applicant status is nothing personal, just means that the individual isnt perhaps suited to SOG as a ranked member.

If you want a second shot, we always ask for a two week gap between failing & applying again.

:whs: give it a bit of time and be more determined not to faulter this time round, rules are rules and we all have to abide by them. no ifs no buts, seeya in the servers if you will try again good luck, and if not well thats upto you. We can ovcourse still game together whichever way you take, provided the rules are abided by at all time's. see ya around. ;)

Your choice mate, however I dont know why it should matter as you are nothing to do with this clan anyway :s You are simply a forum member and will remain to be one if you apply to us and dont consider our rules beforehand ;)

@Blobby you can reapply in 2 weeks as it has been stated before, however, when on our servers you never know who is watching even if there doesn't appear to be an admin on the server. So to avoid any mishaps avoid what they posted every time you are on our servers, and you might have a chance next time if you re apply.

I'll probably be leaving it for a while, I've got 'the exams' coming out too soon, however I might reapply after that.

And what did I say in the servers? I'm not usually in your servers unless there's at least 1 SOG in there...I don't, actually, remember saying anything bad?

I think that's a good plan. Focus on your exams, and if you're still up for it, come reapply once they're over, and we'll take it from there.

In regards as to what you said on the server, I must remind you that the seniors vote on applicants. What that means, is that information shared between the senior members on any applicant, isn't to leave that specific forum. Not only would it breach the rules of that forum, it would also encourage gossip, etc.

That rule is made, partially to prevent gossip, etc. Partially because if we all talked about it, there would be no point in having only senior members vote, and partially because - in a few rare cases - we include some personal information, like IP adresses, etc, in our evaluations. It's a simple precaution, I hope you understand.

Hence, the reasoning posted in there will remain there. If you don't remember it, that's just too bad. Sorry. ;)
