Kaat modify Chatlogs , to blame players ...

Kaat has to bear the consequences (I tought) and this consequences will show the honesty from SOG

In short: Kaat (SOG Admin) modified a chat protocoll to blame 2 players !
I doesnt say the players handle it correct ! ..

hello, i'm FG

after the whole incident with kaatt i talked to some sog members - also Wes about what had happened 'cause i didnt feel need to post here.
but now - when the whole chatlog is on the site and you can compare it to the 1 kaatt posted i thought i will write something.

but 1st - the situation:
1) i dont claim that i didnt use any f*** words - yes i did, cause i didnt see anything wrong with that (and still dont) when im on the server alone with my boyfriend and noone else is there so noone can feel offended with that, if someone joined - we would watch our language. i think rule of not saying "bad words" is for that - to not ofeend others. what's the point of the rule if there is noone else? it's a dead rule then. BUT dont get me wrong - i just share my opinion about it here but im aware that it's sog server so sog rules, if u want to have a dead rule - your choice and your right

2) when kaatt came into the server and asked us to watch the language i was surprised cause he wasnt even playing and i had no idea that anybody is reading what me and my bf were talking to each other, i foud it strange and like big brother - which i said
i wanted to talk to him about that rule - to discuss and i said the f**** word as an example, but he muted me right away so it was impossible to discuss any more so i left the server

i dont think ive done anything wrong trying to normally talk about the rule

of course you can say i could have said that not using the f*** word as an example but i just didnt think about it, everything was going fast.

we could discuss forever if what i and my boyfriend have done was ok or not when we were alone and i guess with some of you we wouldnt agree, but hey - people can have different opinion about many things, im not gonna change mine but as i said - sog server = sog rules (which doesnt mean i cant say i dont agree with a rule, right? i hope freedom of speach is not forbidden here)


but now - the reason of my post - chatlogs
look at the real 1 and compare with the 1 that kaatt posted.
there ARE differences between them - and thats what my boyfriend was pointing here all the time and thats what i was talking to wes and other members of sog on xfire

of course the report made by kaatt was to prove we used curse language - and we dont claim we didn't

but kaatt's report shows it a bit worse - i've never said f**** off - u cant find it in the real report but it is in kaatt's report

my bf said the sentence "what about balls, or crap...." which is NOT in kaatt's report

so kaatt changed a bit our chatlogs so it looks worse - as i offended somebody with f*** off and as my botfriend just started cursing - when the truth is he ASKED about other words (and named them)

of course naming other curse words was "playing" with an admin and many of you will probably find it wrong, but thats not the point

the point is WHY kaatt's report is different from the real chatlog in 2 places - which makes me and my boyfriend look a bit worse???

i think the report should show the truth, i know what i said and what i didnt say - im not retarded!!

please answer my question - why did kaatt put in my mouth "f*** off" which i didnt say and why did he cut the question my boyfriend asked "what about..."????

If Kaatt could show CHANGED chatlogs on a public part of forum, i think we should be free to discuss it at public aswell :)

This is an appeals section, they have a right to post this here.

He did NOT change the chat log, he copy and pasted from WebAdmin which shows the chat as it appears in the chatlog.

writing something as somebody else who DIDNT SAY that and cutting something which somebody said IS CHANGING in my opinion

And because of that the whole stuation looked worse, and besides, even if it didnt

chatlogs should be NEVER changed if they suppose to show the TRUTH

it makes him look really pitiful in my opinion

Ok, I did read the posts already. I see the meaning of the "Chatlog" for me as the file where it's recorded to. But you are right it's still a recording of what went on, and yes he did edit it after he pasted it from WA.

What he did was wrong, but we can't change that.

Let me clear this thing up:

1. he can't change the chatlog, because he can't get to it,only seniors can acces it, that means leaders and councils

2. he was in webadmin and just copy and paste it in he's tread, yes he did changed the word and yes he tryed to show more then it was.

3. The chatlog can't get changed, because if stated at top.

This tread stays open and doesn't get locked, because i do believe in freedom of speech, but please keep it in the forum rules.

The treadname is wrong though he didn't edited th chatlog but the post he made.

I did deleted the chatlog from top because of the language they can check it in th IT tread for more details.

But the post he made was posted AS A CHATLOG soooo as a consequence he changed somehow the chatlog cause peolpe reading that think it IS a chatlog and it WAS CHANGED

iv read this thread and i dont like it, furious you can rest assured that the leaders will deal with this problem,, and all responsible of rule breaking will be brought to justice im sure. ;)

Thank you for informing us. You are absolutely correct with that statement above, however the decision and investigation is SOG Leader responsibility not yours.

The forum is an appeal forum and its been correctly used, but now its up to us to take it from here.

Leaders will look into the chatlog from the server itself, and will establish where and why our member Kaatt has modified the log to suit himself and wrongly accuse.

I would like everyone to take into account what Wes has posted previously, and understand that although Kaatt has broke the rules, the reported in his thread, have also done the same, making both as bad as each other.
