Join VIP

Okay, this have happened sometimes and its pretty annoying, when I'm here (http://www.sog-team.co.uk/index.php?page=servers) and wants to join VIP (scrolling down, and click on Join button below the picture on VIP, so i DON'T click wrong)

Game starts, map is loading, but when I'm in there it shows the PO server. And that's annoying because i want VIP server, and sometimes when I'm disconnecting from PO and load server menu the VIP is full only because of this.

Don't know if it's my computer or wrong at the site.

Well I was playing VIP like yesterday or so, so I think everything is alright now

I can paly VIP thats not the problem, The problem is if u click at join Here (http://www.sog-team.co.uk/index.php?page=servers) i come to PO server, Nothing wrong on vip server, just i comming wrong if i click on join there.

Yes like i said the port is wrong of the gameserver page, so if you join you join the po.

i just join game via shortcut, mine filter set to vip lol
i hope ppl will fix it ;)

Okay.

I'm assuming the link (on the servers page) will be fixed, but in the meantime, you can simply use the normal game server browser, in the actual game. Just simply start swat4, and click "Join Game", and then select the server in the list. It can't be that hard :p

If that's really too much for you, you can create a shortcut on your desktop, with the following short guide :

Right click on an empty area of your desktop

Point to "New"

Click "Shortcut"

In destination, paste the text in the code-box below, but take note to change the directory if you changed from the default directory when installing.

"C:\Program Files\SWAT 4\Content\System\Swat4.exe" 195.149.21.218:10500?Name=InsertYourInGameNameHere

NOTE that the directory highlighted in red may not be where you installed Swat 4. You need to put in the relevant path to Swat 4. Above one is the default one.

NOTE : The quotationmarks ( " ) have to be excactly where they are.

After clicking next, select a name for the shortcut, for instance type SOG VIP server, or whatever you need to memorize what it is. Then click okay.

Not needed/Extra feature : If you want the Swat 4 icon on the shortcut, right click it, once you made it, and click Properties. Then click on the "Shortcut" tab. Then click "Change Icon".

Then, in the box that pops up, either paste the code below in the adressbar up top, or - if you installed in any other directory but the default one, click "Browse" and navigate to the Swat4.exe file, and double click it.

C:\Program Files\SWAT 4\Content\System\Swat4.exe

You can then select the Swat4 icon, and click okay, and okay/apply.

In name, type SOG VIP server, or whatever you need to memorize what it is. Then click okay.

I think he has to put in he's ingame name not the server name :p

No, Wes... It's in "Name" of the shortcut... What it asks you when you press next, after putting in the destination :p

Anyhow, I actually forgot to delete my name at first, so I had to edit it ;D

Yeah Kit. Doesn't take much efford to crowd the server, just too bad the players who joined were mostly muppets :D Anyhow, it's a little off topic though :)
