I understand you guys had some Sql corruption, so this is probably part of that.

Yes its not you its an error from the DB crash we had a month ago ... It is a guy called spit.

Yes, problem is due to a recent corruption in our database, that caused some user accounts to be lost. Each of those has a unique number to identify it. And now, what's happening is that the settings for each unique number (user account) is saved, but the database linking useraccounts to unique numbers isn't. So when you made an account, you inherited an old pre-crash profile, and some posts on forums also appear from the wrong poster, I.e. you seem to be the poster of something you did not post. :)
There's not alot we can do about it, apart from what Majid is doing already. But rest assured that if any confusion comes up, usually we can simply check the dates (for instance, you joined forums in this month, and the post is from September, 2007. :) )
