problems with swat

hi mates, i am off in swat for unknow times. i always get a critical error, when i want to join a server.
i have reinstalled it and it still dont work! so i will sit a while for fixing the problem.
the worst case can be my grafic-card is broken (dont hope so).
the avarage case: windows got some problems and i have to reinstall the whole system (unlucky, cus i have to safe a lot of datas)
best case: a virus

i will in all cases stay activ in the forum, but in perhaps i cant play.

Hmm, is it possible that Xfire may be the cause of the critical error? It happened to me a while ago while I was playing swat online with Xfire running. If it is Xfire that's causing the problem, I suggest that you turn it off while playing swat online. Well, hopefully the problem isn't with your graphics card. Having a virus isn't a good case either, at least to me. In any case, hopefully you can figure out what's wrong soon.:)

ehhm, its a little bit shameful: now all works, also the xfire in-game-chat (didnt work befor). i dnt change anything since the last try

No problem. There's no need to feel shameful. This problem just comes along and goes away. I'm not sure but I think the techs at Xfire may have addressed this problem in their updates. Good to hear things are running smoothly again.:)
