assuming i cant just change my name ghost? suppose i have to start a new profile?

nope in "user CP" you will find link to name change request form

Yep as Deka said, click the arrow next to the USER CP link in the navigation bar, then at bottom select "Request Username"

Once submitted, it will be reviewed and actioned shortly after :)
