Sounds like a cookie problem.
Try to clear it by going to extra -> internetoptions
Somewhere there should be a button to clear temporary internet files.
Remember: this will clear every internet form password you ever entered.

I just noticed this thread, so I'd like to add that I'm having this same problem. Even though I check the box, each time I come back to the site I have to re-login. However, I have yet another problem on top of that. When I go to login and press the Login button, it will display the "thanks for logging in" message, but then it will take me to the homepage, where I have to again enter my username and password. In other words, I'm having to log in twice. Now before you say I'm hitting an extra key or something with my password, that's not it. I've sat here time and time again carefully typing everything out, and no matter what I do, I still always have to enter everything twice.

I'm following the wisdom of "if you want something done right, do it yourself". Otherwise I couldn't be as sure as I am that I was entering everything correctly, thereby it being a problem with the site and not me.

I can't log in using the mini log in screen. I have to go to Announcements>New Thread. It will ask me to log in. I log in from there.

Ive reverted the settings again, but the problems could still remain. Like I say, I will have to look into it further
