At this time I am not able to host SOG Radio because of my connection. If it has too much running that wants and internet connection the modem quits for a few hours and so on ... I am not sure when but hopefully I can go back to hosting the radio soon.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

No problem at all mate...

After all you do it on a volounteer basic, and I'm sure we all appreciate your hard effords mate. :)

But sounds like a bad component inside your modem, so consider sending a description of the error to your ISP. If it works anything like it does here, the modem is a property of the ISP, hence also them, that are the people who replaces faulty ones. :)

so does this mean TS is down too?

No, I have a dedicated server for hosting TS servers now, so it doesn't run off my PC, been like that for a few months now.

@Nico they do that here as well, just as long as the modem is rented, and we are renting it from them, my aunt was suppose to call not sure if she did or not yet.

If needed I can set up a back up radio station for you.
I've been messing around now with shoutcast a couple of times to see and understand how it works.
So just give the word and we'll meet up on X-fire.

Ok, what software do you use to broadcast to shoutcast? SAM? That's currently what me & Matt are using atm. We have the Shoutcast server just need someone to help broadcast to it I guess until I can get my connection fixed if i can.

At the moment I have my own shoutcast server in the air. Just finding out how it works. It is now just a plug in within Winamp but I was also by conicidence looking into other software and stumbled accross SAM. Not yet installed it but looks like just another player I used to have (BPM which is often used in Disco's and pubs).

Have no fear TC, I'll start my stream up and keep it running 24/7 until your connection is fixed. I just set up the ports again a few minutes ago, and everything seems to be working fine. :)

Thanks Element, not sure when/if this connection will get fixed, depends on if it keeps cutting out, but if I don't have nothing using a bunch of bandwidth then it's fine :(
