Since the last thread was closed due to violation of the "no sig"-rule I decided to create a new thread. This time I added the rule to the title of the thread so everyone should be able to remember to turn off their sig. If someone keeps his signature on though (and doesn't remove it by editing the post him/herself), any moderator is allowed to delete the post due to rule violation. This should keep the thread clean. ;)

EDIT: For those who think like bosco: You may post the music you are listening to or like to listen to here, no videos of fast driving cars or something like that. Posts like these may be moved to another thread or deleted by mods. :p

Now back to topic: My brother played this song for me. Although it's weird and maybe annoying to others, I kinda like it. ^^

Indeed music is a very personal choice. That is what makes it so good to see other kinds of music posted in this thread then the basic top 40 music genres.

Final Fantasy is a great series of games, though after some titles I lost interest. Even with different characters in every game, the plot was almost the same (in the end rescue the world ^.^) and the fight system didn't really change. It was always a little different from the last game, but all in all there was nothing new. That's why I've lost interest, and that's why I stick to other japanese games produced by my favorite company "Nippon Ichi Software (http://nisamerica.com/)". ;)

Today I heard this song on a radiostation here. It's a national radiostation that really is out there in finding new music and helping new artists out. So you hear alot of diverse, good music there, and some times alot of really bad music as well

It's by Sia Furler and is titled Buttons. According to herself, the song has no meaning but simply arose from just fooling around with words. Here's the song I heard on the radio, however followed by a weird video :p To understand that, you have to read the full post.

What I fell for was her voice. It seems to have alot of potential, and the way she puts the pressure on the sentences is awesome and different. :)

That got me curious and I happened to stumple upon a live version of the same song, but due to the chronology in that live version, I'll post another video first.

I saw the abovementioned live version, and really found her refreshingly different. She claims to be silly and crazy, and to some extend she seems to be right. But she seems like a happy person, and like music really makes her happy. And honestly I stopped having a need for new "standard template popstars" a long time ago. It's just so boring, and it's a huge "turnoff" how high they regard themselves.

I also noticed every band member mixes their own sound, and wears headphones. They all seem like talented enthusiasts.

I stumbled upon this video after the one I'm posting further down. But it should be added first to make more sence of her person. I think she's fun. Sitting in a radio studio playing live, and still being totally relaxed and just being herself! :)

I like her relaxed person, and that she's not trying to be something she isn't. But since this is a Dutch band which I very like....
