Hey there! I guess a few of you guys have noticed me around on your server? Well, you guys are a such a nice bunch that I think I'll stick around for a bit. ;) I'll be looking trough your forum for a while, I heard rumors that you guys know how to remove the intro to each map? I guess I'll search for it. By the way, Sol.. I never got that e-mail from you. Did you type in the right e-mail address? It's dbs.trinity@gmail.com.

That was the informal greeting. I guess a formal one is in order?

-nods politely- I'm Lieutenant General Trinity of the US*Tactical clan (US*T). You can visit our website (http://www.us-tactical.com) if you would like, it has a link to our forum.

It's like having two personalities. -smirks- Anyways... Cya guys later.

Ooh it's you! Konnichiwa~! :) Nice to see you on the forums. Let's stick together and slap Soldior to oblivion. :D Naaaah I do like Soldior! ...my personal punching ball, tehehe...

Well, anyway, I hope we meet each other on the SOG-server again once in a while. ^^

EDIT: By the way, I think deleting these files does much more than just cutting the intro to the maps. The briefings in single-player campaign and some in-mission talks will be missing too. T.T

Hello!

And welcome to |SOG|:)

Wes
06-12-06, 01:43 AM
then do like me just change the dis files.

Example:

AbombLoad_dis

Become's:

AbombLoad_dis1

that deletes the intro but keeps the rest of abomb.

do that with all the dis files.

Maggotcorps

I just cut them, so if I want to play on singleplayer I paste them in again, so where's the problem ? ;D I mean in multiplayer you don't need that stuff ;)

Konnichiwa, Asakura-chan. Watashi wa Trin desu. Yoroshiku onegai shimasu. Ogenki desu ka?

Haha, sometimes I'd like to slap Soldior when I put on music and he shoots the player to pieces. It helps threatning him with the tazer though. -winks to Sol- Yeah, it would be fun seeing you around. I see we share some other interests as well. Anime. I haven't seen anime for a while, but I absolutely love it. Maybe you can give me some tips about some new good shows? I like the action/martial arts/sci-fi kind.

Oh, now I see why I didn't get it... You were dumped in the spam folder along with "The Amazon Diet". I don't think my e-mail likes you. =P
I'll deffinately see you around. Did you read in the BF2 thread on our forum by the way? I'm on LOA from the 14th of december because I'm going to LA this christmas. But I'll be back in january though. Don't miss me too much. -smirks-

Konnichiwa, Asakura-chan. Watashi wa Trin desu. Yoroshiku onegai shimasu. Ogenki desu ka?

Ugh, looks like your knowledge of japanese language is superior: I don't understand the last two sentences - gomen nasai Trin-chan! :o

Haha, sometimes I'd like to slap Soldior when I put on music and he shoots the player to pieces. It helps threatning him with the tazer though. -smirks-

O_O Threatening him with the tazer eh? Hmmmmmm... *very evil grin @ Soldior* :D

I see we share some other interests as well. Anime. I haven't seen anime for a while, but I absolutely love it. Maybe you can give me some tips about some new good shows? I like the action/martial arts/sci-fi kind.

So you like anime as well? How marvelous! =) I bought some DVDs and right now I'm downloading some series from a direct download page. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be much of help for you, because I prefer comedy and shoujo (I think that's what it is called when there are many girls in love with one single boy in an anime? I just love the romantic and dramatic scenes there ^^; ), especially the last one. I already downloaded 7GB since the beginning of December. My mom is going to kill me. >.<;; But look here (http://www.muffindomain.com/index.php?page=anime.html), it's the page I have been downloading fansubs from for some months already. I think you might be able find the sort of anime there you are looking for. :)

Ugh, looks like your knowledge of japanese language is superior: I don't understand the last two sentences - gomen nasai Trin-chan! :o

Sumimasen (sorry). "Yoroshiku onegai shimasu" basicly means "nice to meet you". The lengthy translation would be: "Yoroshiku onegai shimasu," at the end of self-introduction means, "Please accept me as one of your friends / a member of your group. Please be kind to me, and do not exclude me from your group."

"Ogenki desu ka?" means "How are you doing?"

Hehe, I've just picked up a few lines along the way, nothing major. :P

So you like anime as well? How marvelous! =) I bought some DVDs and right now I'm downloading some series from a direct download page. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be much of help for you, because I prefer comedy and shoujo

Oh, mushy stuff?? I can do mushy stuff, I don't think we have the same tastes on that front either though. -shrugs- Oh well.

X_x if you want to learn japanese for real just download the greatest of all language learning programmes ;) If you're interested it is hosted on Rapidshare just tell me and I'll send you a link ;)

Asakura
08-12-06, 01:37 AM
But I've heard learning the japanese language isn't easy at all, like three different types of letter systems and "levels of speech" and so on. I once read a review of a student from Germany who studied the japanese language. It was fun, but scary as well. >.>;

Maggotcorps
08-12-06, 01:41 AM
with this program it's not that hard, it's really great after all it uses a method like childs did to learn their languages, there is NO translation into your language, only a japanese voice and pictures, and japanese letters and the voice who says what it means ;) but only in japanese, it's the easiest learning method ;)

After all you can learn much faster with this method than with a Japanese - English/German method cause you have an image in your head about what the word means and so you can sort it out much faster and easier ;) could explain it much better in german, has something to do with psychology but whatever ;D

Asakura

Hmmm it really does sound quite easy. I'd like to give it a try. Would you post the link to rapidshare? :) I have to be superior in japanese language to Triny-chan. =D

Maggotcorps
08-12-06, 01:51 AM
take a look into your private messages inbox folder.

edit: btw. it's a little complicated to install it, the program is easy but the language packs have to be installed with the setup.bat in the install folder then it'll create a folder called: Disc
this disc folder has to be burned on a CD/DVD or to be burned as an iso image you can mount it with daemon tools or alcohol ;)

but seriously its much more profitable to learn Chinese you can get a really good job as a good looking translator ;)

lol :) I don't want to learn a language I don't like just to make money ;) After all the japanese are nice people and the language is a bit easier (for me) then chinese ;) and I don't need chinese to watch an anime without subtitles *smile*

Thank you to Asakura, Maggotcorps and Wes for all links you have put up, greatly appreciated.

I'm not as good in japanese as Pyros Wildfire over there. I recognize a lot of the words and can guess the meaning of it all, but I'd rather not embarrass myself too much just yet. I'll have plenty of time and opportunities for just that. -chuckles softly- Why don't you translate the stuff you wrote for us Pyros?

Welcome Trinity nice to see you

Hope to meet you on our server more often and thx for registering, your very welcome

Nice BF2 site, all the best

Matt

Thank you very much, Matt. It's nice to be here. Thank you so much for the compliment about the site... It isn't much though. -smiles shyly-

Geez, what r u on about Trin xD u should teach me that some japanese !!!

I can if you would like me to. Unfortunately I have a limited japanese vocabulary at this point, I only know a few phrases and words. I'm much more skilled in my native tongue (norwegian), those languages related to it (danish & swedish) and english. Japanese and italian are like my hobby languages because I love anime and opera. I pick up a little here and there, make a few notes. Maybe this website could be a good start for you? http://japanese.about.com/blphrase.htm

Aww, more weeaboos xD *runs* Weeaboo is someone who is obsessed with Japan/Japanese Culture/Anime :P

I don't think obsessed would be the right term for it in my case. I enjoy cultural "beauty"! By that I mean positive cultural differencies like art, music, languages, food, nature and the people accross the globe. It enriches me in so many ways. A few of my dream places to go are (in a random order); USA, Canada, Italy, Japan, Greece, and Portugal. I'd like to learn the languages for communication and to one day be able to express myself honestly and completly. So far I have only been to Sweden, Denmark, England, Wales and Cyprus.

I always looked at how japan has taken over us LOL
but seriously its much more profitable to learn Chinese you can get a really good job as a good looking translator

I have thought about making the language part profitable. I would actually love to be a translator. Sadly it requires a vast vocabulary and great language skills. I must admit that I don't know a single word in chinese, so it is out of the question. -smiles-

Well Konichiwa Trinity-chan then :p (Asakura's friends are my friends)

Konnichiwa M1k3-kun, freut mich dich kennenzu lernen. A belated "Danke sch?n" from me in return. I haven't that much extra time the last few days, so I haven't been able to respond in the great lenght that was required. Yep, time to step up and learn the languages. :P

--
I must say that you all have very nice signatures. Mine was too big. -frowns- I'll see if I can ask one of my friends to make me one. I only have standard paint on my computer, so I can't make a really cool one myself. Wouldn't know where to begin anyways.
Soldior requested that I put up some pictures from my trip on the forum, and I'll do that when I come back. To be a little sneaky I'll put up different pictures on this forum and on our US*Tactical forum. I might even put a few on my website that isn't BF2 related.

Gawd, I so have to go... I'll edit this post later to make it less stressing on the eyes. -chuckles-

Ser dere senere!
