ok today i was given this assignment as the dumbest homework ive ever had : ( i h8 science teachers now..... it would help if u knew the english alphabet and well... im not sure i guess something i don't kno since i have yet to figure this out and its due tmrw so please reply soon if u can with the steps and end result !!!

I just gave it a try, but there's no useful word at the end. It's extra difficult for me though since the instructions are a) still very small and tough to read and b) in english. Gomen irish! ^.^; Maybe I'll try again with my brother tomorrow, he might be helpful.

EDIT: I've found the instructions online, here they are in standard size:

After the jump there is a word game to see how well you can follow directions.

SIMON SAYS

Start with TEDDY STATISTICS and follow the directions carefully to discover a phrase that is apropos.

1. Print the words TEDDY STATISTICS.

2. Delete every D.

3. Switch the third T and the third S.

4. Double the second consonant from the right.

5. Move the fourth letter from the left to the end.

6. Change the third letter from the left to a B.

7. Move the third through fifth letters from the left, in order, to the beginning.

8. Switch the third consonant from the right and the third consonant from the left.

9. Delete the third vowel from the left.

10. Insert the word ON to the right of the first C.

11. Wherever a pair of adjacent, identical letters appears, delete one of the letters.

12. Change the second consonant from the left to an F.

13. Change the second T from the right to an L.

14. Move the second consonant from the left to the right of the second S from the right.

15. Double the fifth consonant from the right.

16. Insert the previous vowel alphabetically to the right of the second vowel from the right.

17. Change the fourth consonant from the left to the proceeding letter of the alphabet.

18. Move the second through fifth letters from the left, to between the pair of adjacent identical letters.

19. Delete the third through eighth letters from the right.

I can already tell that there's at least one mistake I made in step 13, maybe I can solve the puzzle. =)

Brother didn't want to help me, so I tried again myself. But still I was unable to get a useful solution. So please tell me what there's supposed to stand at the end of the instructions. ^.^;;
