I have no idea where to place this thread.. So if there is a better place, please move it.

To the question:

Why is it that posts you read by going trough the "New Posts" link aren't marked as read afterwards? It would be very helpful if that was possible to change.

Hmm, I should probably explain better: When I go to "New Posts" there is like a bunch of posts. But when I've read them all, and go to "Forum" there are still many sub-forums marked as unread.. So I manually have to enter each sub-forum for it to register that all the posts there are read. Catch my drift? A couple I'm actually unable to get to display as grey... Even though there are no unread threads... So.. Yeah. I don't know if it can be fixed or not. But, oh well.

when u click the "new posts" button the posts that u already read disapear, and if u read them all there is no need to check the forum :) (i think thats it)

yeah I know what you mean, that sometimes happens too if you read a post and then click on Forum up there instead of like here Help Desk first.

In that case if you are sure you read all just click on "Quick Links" -> Mark Forums Read, then they should be all marked as read.

LOL ^^^ Yes the guys have explained how to fix it. Basically it were once worse. When you clicked "new posts" and read them it wouldnt register too. However Mark forums read will solve the issue for now.

Maggot is right, it is one old bug and ive never got to the bottom of it lol ;)
