K because everyone doesn't know what infractions are here are the points and matt explauns what a infraction is:
Points and reasons:

Infraction: Signature Rule Violation
points: 1
Expires: 14 days
Infraction: Spamming
points: 1
Expires: 14 days
Infraction: Inappropriate Language
points: 2
Expires: 14 days
Infraction: Admin Rule Violation
points: 3
Expires: 28 days
Infraction: Spammed Advertisements
points: 3
Expires: 1 month
Infraction: Bad Server Practice
points: 4
Expires: 1 month
Infraction: Insulted Other Member(s)
points: 4
Expires: 2 months
Infraction: Deceit / Mistrust
points: 5
Expires: 1 month
Infraction: Indecent Images / Content
points: 10
Expires: 3 months
What can happen when you get a infraction:

Status: Ban
Expires: 7 days
Points: 10
Status: Ban
Expires: 1 month
What does that mean:

Example:

1 is spamming the forums or the servers so he get a spamming infraction so he get 1 point.
2. get a infraction for inapropiate language 2 points
but before he's infraction expires he insults other members so he get 4 points
4+2=6
So he gets autobanned from the website for 7 days.

An Infraction is a warning. The clan uses infractions to award penalty points to those who violate the site or server or clan rules.
Well, anyone can get infractions if registered at site. For members; well they are of more importance which could mean suspension, withdrawal of admin rights, or worse; dismissal from SOG.
So, these warning are given with a possible expiry date. This date means after the stated day, you lose those points and they wont count against you from then. However if they dont expire or if you break anymore rules gaining another infraction, you will get points added to those that stand. Beware, if they add up action levels may be hit meaning a possible punishment.

EDIT: Another thing to note is how we go about issueing them. Once it has been decided by leaders to issue an infraction, you will be PMed and assigned the infraction which is added to the users profile with the details along with our database so we know who has what etc.

And what kind of infraction exactly was mine? 3 points for 1 month? I mean it was no real spam...
And: Is it any possible to remove that timed out thing from my profile? Everytime when i open my profile i get remind, and i hate it.

Well, with all the spamming me and Ace 'offers' and all the swearing i do with the Scotsman, it's a wonder i havent been banned for something like 5935623708193381549 years....
With spamming we mean, double posting or even tripple posting.

I understand the infractions thing and try not to post something bad on the public forums or anything like that, on one post i noticed i got an infraction, can we not see the infractions we have on the profile, but we get a PM about it? Or is that only if we are about to get suspened or something. Now I know I can't post that link i did, and won't do that again.

So, if i get one of these infractions in my profile,,, (for example because i mocked Ace) Would it remain there forever? and would it decrease my chance of getting up in this clan? or increase the chance of getting down?

Hey, mocking Ace is a requirement for entry into this clan!! :p
If that infraction is in there, it stays there but it does expires if you mock ace you don't get a infraction :p
JK, Well if it expires it doesn't affect it bit if it happens alot you can get that chance (:o typed it right) You don't can move up or even go a rank down.
Edit: You do get a warning for a light infraction.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I think what Wes and Matt said on the first page is very important and has established a set of guidelines that I don't want to see slip away into the "old post abyss". Therefore, I'm going to sticky this thread. I'm sure it will come in handy as we all use the thread for a reference tool more and more.
I agree with you Element ....... :) and i'll do my best to enforce it as best as i can ......
