View Full Version : Polish Troops in Afghanistan. Withdraw
The new Polish president-elect said that in the near future will withdraw from Afghanistan. We are a member of NATO, but he found that our service there, coming to an end. Polish troops are one of the largest and most active and effective in the contingent. Do you think that the withdrawal of our coalition forces will weaken considerably ? For now, we send 1,000 troops there next.

Why it wouldn't be allowed? I can't think any rational reason for that...

It's allowed, no problem. :) I did move the thread to The Discussion Room though, since it's essentially a discussion. :)
Denmark have troops there as well, not many of course, as we are a small nation, but instead our troops are in very fast rotation, sadly. So they don't get to see their families at home much.
I don't really have any opinion about the topic though.

In my opinion, the Polish soldiers should not occur in Afghanistan. Immediately withdraw is best option, I guess. We need to spend more money on improving our army, then fight. Moreover, I think this fight to be pointless.
