Hello.

It seems on the roster (http://www.sog-team.com/forum/showroster.php) page the writing that goes '|SOG| - Special Operations Group Clan RosterMember Count: 32' at the top the words 'roster' and 'member' overlap each other, at least for me. I think it needs fixing :D

Im using resolution 1024x600 and IE

Looks normal for me (firefox). Can I ask you what resolution you use?

As he told me He uses a 1024x600 resolution.
Its a very unusual one and can simply give "problems" of this type.

If my window is wider than 1209 pixels then they don't overlap, but if that is not the case they overlap.
I am using Chrome 4.

Mine is working fine on all browsers, (but ie isn't showing some other things xD):

From up to down; Google Chrome, Moxilla, Internet Explorer

But I'm only using 1440x900, so try that :D

On my granpa notebook (1024x600) I get same problems.
On my desktop (1440x900) I get no problems.

With same browser installed.

It is obious it's a res problem.

No overlap problems at 1280x800 resolution, using Firefox 3.6.2 and Opera 10.10
Works fine for me, never had that problem.

I have an overlap too, I would suggest that the |SOG| bit of text should be uncentred so that both sections are positioned relative to one another thus solving the problem for any resolution

I think at least needed 1280x*** pixels to do not have this problem.
It can be fixed adjusting members rooster page.

I think at least needed ****x800 pixels to do not have this problem.
It can be fixed adjusting members rooster page.
That is not correct. You need at least like 1280x**** ( {X}x{Y} or widthxheigth ).The heigth of your screen doesn't matter at all.

People with smaller monitors could try to zoom out ( in most browsers ctrl + - )

My resolution is 1360 x 768, works fine for me still with no issues as I stated before.

When i put the resolution to 1280 x 1024 the member's roster shows like it should. :)

Still does not work for me but its strange that when you highlight that bit of text it looks fine besides having an 'R' in front of it...

Franciswat
26-03-10, 12:28 PM
Strange about it. Tyrope looks it well with 1024x800 res you you should be able to do the same.

I get that prob only if I mess with CTRL + the rolling thing on the mouse :D so maybe those guys who have the problem should try to zoom back a little

You gave me a good idea with the zoom to make some tests. Starting from this, I tried to zoom in and out: results?
The string "|SOG| - Special Operations Group Clan Roster" remains on center, and if you zoom IN (+) you will get that the string "Memebers Count: xx" will progressively tend to collapse into the first string, that remains in the same centered position no matter you zoom in or out.
If you zoom OUT (-), you will see the second string that "moves away" to the right, resulting in it becoming outer to the main table grid.
I don't know why this happens, but it sounds like a coding error in our showroster.php page. Maybe this is the problem?

I've looked into this issue, and I believe to have fixed it temporarily a few days ago on ProDark 09, and more permanent now on ProDark 09 and Blue Styles.

Can you please check to see if the issue with overlapping text has disappeared? :)

Thanks
