The SOG Appreciation Thread

i thought it was about time we let people like matt know, that all his hard work wasnt a waste of time, that we are all glad he took the time to make this clan.
But for me, i dont really like the word clan, i much prefer community, because at the end of the day, theres lot of guys here who i consider mates, yes they may be faceless, but none the less they are still mates. theres a hell of a lot of good people here, which is a credit to SOG and the leaders for having the common sense (obviously not that much, heck, they let me in:D) to let the people in.
so i think everyone else should show there appreciation in this thread, hey, this place cant be that bad, we all keep coming back:D :D

Well i like the word clan (because for me it means family) I belong to two clans ( The Hay clan and the SOG clan) And yes my family is scottish :)

yeah when you say it like that, then yeah, clan does have a good meaning, but im sure you all know what i mean, at the end of the day, we all met because of a game. but we still talk to each other cuz we want to, its not cuz of the game anymore.

When I joined SOG I was wondering.. You guys are serius! This is my first serius clan, and allso my best clan ever(I really mean it!) I dunno how many server u got 5-7 or something? Teamspeak servers. Reeeeally good site etc.

Nice members, damn, really nice members. Like my 2nd family.

I've bought a mic, and bf2 just because I'm in SOG lol.
I've installed Teamspeak, Ventrilo and UAC just for SOG.

And I LOVE it!

I like SOG because of the professionalism shown, and the forums are always active, and I lmao everytime I see jokes posted.

You know the one thing I setup a clan for, was to provide a home for those gamers out there that like to play well, but also have great personalities making them unique and special to the clan i wanted to found.

After many years playing the game, and also being in another clan; I wanted to improve on my achievements and efforts during that time both in NCO and in-game. With SOG, i couldnt have wished for it better; we have a great bunch of guys as firends; a large collection of servers; a great website for our home; & most importantly solid foundations.

I enjoy being here. I want to be here and will always remain so until i physically cant. Although im very busy, I always have time to drop by and chat with the guys who make this clan great.

So as i was in {KMK} clan for like 1 year maybe a bit less i wasnt feel like im in something that helping me or making something better for me , yes we speaked with each other but something wasnt right, I met Matt he wasnt in NCO yet Was really great to play with him then he joind NCO, many ppl joind them and i thought that i will join too but i waited, looked hows they are and is there a point to join them? I still was in KMK After Matt get out of there, Then he made just great SOG :) i met others good ppl like Bosco, Majid, Gordon and Maggot so after all that time when i was in KMK i feel it that SOG is much more to me then KMK like Famaly and just good friends to meet and after all as KMK ruin because none was active only me so i decided to join SOG and even now i still think that i did right choice
Must say huge "thank you" to matt-best leader i ever saw and just good guy and friend!!! :)

Yes, I'm more for the Clan than the cummunity. The community may contain people who you consider (faceless!) friends, but the clan members are far closer. I have yet to spot a hissy fit, over-reaction, or verbal abuse between members of this clan. The fact that non clan members regularly return shows that the clan has character I reckon. :D

well i usually call us a family not really a clan. But then again they both sort of mean the same thing. This is my first clan also and my last. :D SOG is a very good family and if i had 1 wish in the whole world it would be to be able to meet all of my 2nd family members. ;) I have learned a lot in this family/clan and we have great members that really make me/us feel welcome with open arms. :D
