Hi all,

After some feedback, can visitors vote whether they can visit our pages via www.sog-team.com and www.sog-team.co.uk.

The things to check first are as follows:

- Does the shoutbox load for you?
- Can you login & logout without errors?
- Can you post and play in the arcade?
- Is the whole site viewable?

Of course, any detailled feedback in relation to both domains is more than welcome to help troubleshooting.

Thanks

Matt

Hey,
www.sog-team.co.uk fully works
on www.sog-team.com
-shoutbox does not work
-login yes,but the cookies don't work
-Can't post with that as I can't login

I guess you have to set two sitepaths to get everything working on both domains.

co.uk - works great

.com - works but with errors, shoutbox not working properly i have to use a trick to have it working, its logging me out after trying to reach any forum after logging on

edit: its redirecting all links to the co.uk

@co.uk: all works fine

@.com: same problems as DeKA + cannot even log in (google crome), can not play at arcade.

Here's my feedback;

- Does the shoutbox load for you?

Sog-team.com: It's loading, but forever; doesn't work

Sog-team.co.uk: Works fine

- Can you login & logout without errors?

Sog-team.com: No problems, when logging via "Forums", when logging via "Home page" it sometimes just won't log in... Doesn't matter if cookies ar on or not. Logging out works fine :s

Sog-team.co.uk: Same as above. :dunno:

- Can you post and play in the arcade?

Sog-team.com: I can play arcade games, strangely the ".com" always wants to switch to ".co.uk"... But when i tried to post arcade record, it didn't allow me to do it; "In order to accept POST request originating from this domain, the admin must add this domain to the whitelist." :o

Sog-team.co.uk: Everything works fine :)

- Is the whole site viewable?

Sog-team.com: In fact, ".com" has smaller font size, and so it looks nicer and is more accurate than "co.uk", but shoutbox isn't still visible :blunt:

Sog-team.co.uk: Fine, just wont is bigger so it isn't so accurate ;)

Edit: roger that DeKA :)

Well both load for me and i have to say i use the .co.uk as thats whats bookmarked

But of late i have had login issues where it wont accept my login on .co.uk but if i login from forum page its fine, it is also sometimes loging me out form the arcade which can be annoying, its as tho it thinks im idle when playing for more than 1hr.

The cookies i cant comment on as my browser and av delete all cookies on close.

the other req'd info i cant comment on tho as i havent tested it yet but ill check and let you know

my earlier bookmark:
http://www.sog-team.co.uk/index.php?page=homepage (http://www.sog-team.co.uk/index.php?page=homepage) redirects to the welcome page of .com, i fear that this might also be the case in all the forum links.

oh and webmail.sog-team.co.uk doesn't work any more... edit: webmail link is here. (http://sog-team.com:2095)

and wich one is our email now? .com or .co.uk? edit:
A message that you sent could not be delivered to:
tyrope@sog-team.co.uk
and my .com email test did work, so i advise all SOG members using their .co.uk address somewhere to be changing it to .com.

Email is .com now. The mail link has already been set to the correct domain for email. The .co.uk/forum doesn't work for me now, had to come to .com and it works so far. I can see the shout box and everything.

Click on Options, then click on "Save Settings" then when you go back to the forum page it should show for you. Usually works for me.

@ Franciswat I fixed the links in that thread. :)

If i click on options, get this:

This problem is only with Google crome. Mozilla working fine.

Ps: I fortunately find the good way on Crome too. Need only to click on "Reload this page" then shoutbox can seen. So no more problem.

Hey, I do not understand why radio is showed online looking at forum index and offline looking at other pages (ie servers page).

Hey, I do not understand why radio is showed online looking at forum index and offline looking at other pages (ie servers page).

This is a known issue. We had to disable it because of site stability issues when it's enabled on all pages. If we find a solution we'll re-enable it. <:)

Tyrope

i think, instead of showing false information on those pages, one could put smth else there related to the radio? like "check if the radio is online here" button-ish thing?

Nicoleise
03-12-09, 09:48 PM
Or simply a blank space... <:)

I've been thinking about that for a while, but I think the intention is to fix the module somehow.

or maybe we could use a smaller version of this on the pages that are broke as at the moment the stream is pretty constant and stable anyway

Yea, that would be easy to make. The only thing is ; if the radio is offline then it will still appear as online (because the images are static), thus people might tune in and get nothing.

I don't know how the radio work, but if it is auto-broadcasting music when no shows are on (i.e. the user will always get something out the speakers from tuning in), then I think that would be a good temporary solution.

well currently either mike or tim set their stream to autobroadcast and i have been known to do it to, that is when no shows are scheduled, so yeah as i said its pretty stable most of the time. so i dont think it would be a major issue to use, even if they tune in and dont get anything surely its bettter than them not tuning in at all as they think its down when its not?

I've a question about forum setting.
I noticed my old signature is not automatically updated when I change it (that happened just for most recent post). Are there any settings to update signature in all my posts?

Wes

It will change automaticly in all posts, you have to refresh or clear your cache ...
