If you want an instant makeover of your computer I suggest getting Windowblinds (stardock.com)

You can also spice up your icons using IconPackager (also from stardock, as is the next one), get Mac style docs using ObjectDock and a whole lot more. Check it out (it's not free,Uh hum)

the all seeing eye is similar to Xfire. but i think its better for games that have a lot of servers like Call of Duty 2

The first one is from Star Trek: Voyager. It's images of Kate Mulgrew and Jeri Ryan who respectively plays Captain Janeway and 7 of 9. You might have seen Jeri Ryan in series like Shark and Boston Public.

I agree, the desktop looked way cool. I also have the demo and I played it online... I must say... It wasn't my cup of tea. I don't know why I haven't deleted it yet, maybe because the icon looks decorative. :P

Well Mr. Emperor_Operator (what a name XD), I wanted to let others see a little example instead of pure image links. This way you can click and have a better look on an image you might like, but I don't think everyone would click through a list of links. ;)

Well, still room for one more ! So no problem. :rolleyes: Seriously though, he needs a MAP to be able to find what he needs. Which kinda takes the cleverness out of icons. I'd be up for a challenge to start a program faster than him, with him using icons and me using DOS :D

I'll post my desktop up, when ever I get a moment to fix an error WindowsBlinds created when I uninstalled it. I use a (possibly clever) way of organizing my icons. :p

My desktop is fairly simple and clean. Only thing is that I have a Sony Ericsson phone, that I can use as a remote control for my pc (control media player, powerpoint or general desktop), and the icon for that seems to be impossible to remove :(

All my "icons" are in a menu I made. Some may wonder why I don't just use the start menu, but that is so slow in comparison. And it's also possible to organize things way better, because you aren't forced to have the things you dont want (like "Start" and "Accessories" folders for instance. :)

Currently pointed at games. I change the icons regularely, when I add new games or stop playing some but don't want to uninstall them. :)

The sidebar is called "Sidebar" and is really recommendable, as it's very configurable, and can do alot of things, like control media player, and has MSN messenger integrated if wished. :)

I must ask you two, Shad and Inbracer, what's your opinion of Windows Vista?Vista is ok, but sometimes it get easily confused with simple tasks i ask it to. It is ok, but in my opinion its just made for the looks. The window scroll where you can easily switch between your applications is pretty much LAME. I have never used it. Buuut the fact that it requires so much memory purely for the visual experience is the downside. I know many people that have been downgrading to the Windows XP OS, and they said it was a smart idea.
