Well it's an active forum so I might give it a go there, I have been really botherd latley by 1 question what was here first: the "chicken" or the "Egg" ? can someone give me an awnser on that? I even googled for it but I found nothing intreasing.
that's one of those questions that can't be answered.

Yes but there has to be an explanation for it :S ? because mabye the egg came from a DUck ? but how did the duck came here who knows but I would love to find out :P
Briefly:
New species = genetic mutation therefore the egg came before the chicken.

Dinosaurs laid eggs, they were around before chickens :)

It was answered. It's the egg like object. It's closer in form to a single celled organism, and simpler in construction than something as complex as a chicken. So tuwile is correct, it all came from slime and mutated here and there.

Well my opinion is that animals and plants are evolved by gods will (as written)
but Humans and This delicate universe have been created by God.
This is the Islamic view but we never attribute anything to chance its all in gods will.

All birds are related to dinosaurs. That's their decendents that is. As for God......Well, there is only a god if you are weak minded enough to need one. God is a convenient crutch for people who refuse to accept responsability for their actions, quoting 'god's will' and such, allowing them to deny the fact that sometimes shit just happens, and accept that they are an intolerant bast*rd.
If there is a higher power in the universe, it is an insane, angry, lonely, child and always will be.

We are not to be mistaken by our christian brothers since we are the third and final testament (only not tampered word of god) we accept all the prophets of christianity only we part at the devinity of Jesus(peace be upon him) because we see him as a prophet of God as he states in the bible but thats another story ...
the point being that Muslims believe that all animals came from the sea, which now is a scientific fact, we believe that all animals evolved since they cant live in the sea in their present state.
but all that is not by chance all of it is by the will of God the proof in that is the illogical science behind what animal get and what and why some loose and some stand to benefit.
And most of all simply by looking at nature you can see how delicately and scientifically nature stands on a amazing tightrope which a "lucky" bang would be a uncountable number to one.

HMM, I would have to go with that it makes more sense that aliens brought everything to the planet and populated it so they can sit back and watch us like the ultimate realistic sitcom comedy, and laugh while we ask ourselves what came first the chicken or the egg? :o
I mean you can sit here and and go in circles about how does the egg which comes out of a chicken butt come first if there was no chicken butt, and if chicken was first it would have to hatch out of an egg from a chicken butt.
Also what defines which got here first I mean in the egg is a chicken right? so wouldnt they both be here at the same time?
unlimited possibilities of what came first, slime, big bang, God, alien ray gun anything and everything can fill in the blank of what came first the chicken or the egg. ;)

Once upon a time, long before both McDonalds and dinosaurs there was a weird weird sort of life. It was called the Flicken! The king of these weird creatures were called Chuck. One day Chuck decided he didn't like his people, and he cast a spell upon the lands, making all the Flickens lay eggs.
Out of these eggs a weird and delicious creature was born. The chicken.
How do i know? I killed Chuck because i think Flickens tastes better!
Yea, that means: im about one million billion supersillion years old. And i still look like 18.
