I have the same problem...

But I have discussed with Pepper a long time ago, and he said that I can send the "100 %" to him and he will add it to the hall of fame.... Of course I have to add all the info with the pic to Pepper

I still can't find the "Upload" button (haven't seen it like 4 moths :o)... Where is it hiding...?

I can take a screenshot of "view" what I see and you can tell me where the "Upload" button is? Or maybe you can take a pic and show me (and others) where the button is?

I have had a loong conversation with Pepper via PM and he said that he have asked about you if I have the acces to it and you said that I should have the acces to upload the pic....

Here's some of the conversations:

Hello Kirjakukka,

as i have asked DeKA, you are allowed and should be able to post in there, but be sure, only 100% Results to be posted.

here is the Link for the Fame of Hall , only press Upload, then you should be able to upload the Picture, see the Info you can set in there, so all knows, which Map and may the Settings of the Group.

Hopefully this helps, if anymore Question, you are welcome to catch me anytime, :)

regards to you, Pepper

But only thing what I see is this (http://s701.photobucket.com/albums/ww17/Kirjakukka/?action=view&current=Kakka.jpg)

Well, I think I'm gonna be a Forum Member forever. Maybe, maybe not... Still, I'm waiting the response from Delta1 to this thread that is he able to Upload the pic to Hall of Fame or not.... If not; this is gonna be a problem to, since he's a Member of the Clan. If yes; it's gonna be a problem to me because I want to add a pic to there :D

But I have already send the 100 % (http://screenshot.xfire.com/screenshot/natural/7ea813a765f51c457393b029f5b113b2a5e7a825.png) pic to Pepper via PM, who told me that he will add it to the Hall of Fame for me :)

Hopely the pic is good enough :D

only FVIP+ can add the pics to gallery, so you cannot

Just click "upload" - "file" - then choose a file, what you want to upload.

Yes I found the xfire creenshots folder now and have uploaded mine
But this still doesn't help regular forum members like kirjakukka

its restricted for obvious reasons ...

Kirjakukka

And the reason is :D ? Then you'll have to make me a Forum VIP (yeah right -_-)... By the way, how can you come a Forum VIP

But it will be "ok" if I post my 100 % (http://screenshot.xfire.com/screenshot/natural/7ea813a765f51c457393b029f5b113b2a5e7a825.png) pic to Pepper (for example) and he'll have a look at it. If the pic is fine he will put it to the Hall of Fame?

So will it be "okay" ?

uhum? its pretty clear lol

the reason is to avoid unwanted, useless spam as well as illegal content posted by persons who are just registered on forums, also to avoid treating SOG forums as host-server for screens/pictures as its not what its made for

also the gallery and hall of fame is not dedicated to post all possible screens with 100 scores :s

if i would like to post all mine it will be more than 100 screens and in fact there is no point in posting screens with scores from the same maps over and over again, lol

screens should be added if there is a need for it - means if in game were players who are not added to the HoF or with scores from new maps

anyway question answered thread :lock:

I can see the upload button but I don't know how to link it to an xfire pic that I don't think I have on my computer

It's very simple, as you don't have to upload it to our site (it's already uploaded to xFire, so it's already "out there"). So here's what you can do :

Common instructions
Go to your xFire Profile (http://www.xfire.com/profile/delta1dan) => Screenshots (http://www.xfire.com/screenshots/delta1dan/)
Click the screenshot you'd like to link to
Click "Full Size"
Copy the entire adressbar

If not using xFire Screens, simply rightclick the image you want, and select "Copy Image Adress" or "Properties"=>Copy the "Image Adress" string. Depends on your browser. :)

To make a link
Paste the content directly into the post
For one of your images, it would look like this :
http://screenshot.xfire.com/screenshot/natural/72106cfb3f9698a10e83c72adf77d6b3961269f9.png

Link will show the picture in new window/tab. We ask that you use this method if the width of the image exceeds 800px, or if the filesize is very large. :) The forum automatically shortens long links, so they appear nicely.

To make a text-link
Write the post, and highlight the text you want to be a link
Click the hyperlink button (globe with a chainlink infront)
Paste the adress there (ensure that you overwrite "http://")
Click OK

Example, for the same image as above :
Image showing Delta1 scoring 100 (http://screenshot.xfire.com/screenshot/natural/72106cfb3f9698a10e83c72adf77d6b3961269f9.png)
Image showing Delta1 scoring 100 (http://www.link-adress.com)

To make an image (embed to post)
Click the Image button (a painting)
Paste the entire adress (ensure that you overwrite http://)
Click OK

When you do this, please ensure that the image is no wider than 800px, as it strecthes the page otherwise. :)

Example (using a smaller image than your screenshot) :
http://images.google.dk/url?source=imgres&ct=img&q=http://www.jalife.net/up/files/orly-ostrich.jpg&usg=AFQjCNG1m2p9k2dTVjPvzmvbGI-LTfr7XA
[Click the image - nothing happens]
http://www.image-adress.com

To make an image-link
Follow the procedure above for making an image (embedded), then highlight the entire codestring, including the tags, and click the hyperlink button, and paste the adress, ensuring that you overwrite http://, and you will have a link-image :

http://images.google.dk/url?source=imgres&ct=img&q=http://www.jalife.net/up/files/orly-ostrich.jpg&usg=AFQjCNG1m2p9k2dTVjPvzmvbGI-LTfr7XA (http://mashable.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/ya_rly.jpg)
[Click the image - it's now a link!]
[img]http://www.image-adress.com (http://www.link-adress.com)

Those are the options you have for posting (embedding or linking to) an externally hosted image (e.g. on xFire or Photobucket). :) Anything between will be shown graphically, if possible (valid picture, valid adress). Anything between will be a hyperlink/clickable. You can write these tags yourself, if you think that is easier as well. :)

I hope this explaination answered your question, if not, feel free to bombard my xFire. ;)
