wow, you guys are way too into this and I apologize that I'm not so pathetic that I cant post on an irrelevant Forum 5 times a day every day. I have something called a LIFE, job, and responsibilities and what I look like to a bunch of judgemental pricks across a computer is nothing on my priority list. Oh, and Mike, you can kiss my -removed- because I don't know wtf gives you the audacity to think that you think you can tell people who they can and can't play with on SWAT4, but you need to get off your "high and mighty" trip before you make yourself look even more like an -removed- to those that think youre worth a -removed- to begin with. There's a concept called "smurfing" and when you go into another server under another name so the people in that server dont kick you, know who you are, etc...yeah, that's smurfing. Yet you expressly forbid such actions in your server and on the Forum. Hmm, ever heard of "lead by example"? nice one hypocrite. Anyway, im done with all these obligations and -removed- you place on your recruits, its just a game and your "clan" takes it way beyond. I have happily dropped my SOG tag from my name like you -removed- at me to do, so i have nothing further to say nor do I give a -removed- what your opinion is. dismissed -removed-, im done with you

LOL, look what silly anger does, dont get mad since you were finally caught misbehaving and not acting how a potentional SOG member should. If you want to play like the other 12 year olds thats fine, just cant use our tags while doing so ;).

you think you can tell people who they can and can't play with on SWAT4

I dont care who you play with and what server you play on, but if your trying to be a member of a well respected clan, you cant go running around and acting like a child. So please feel free to continue playing with your buddy on that server where both of you 12 year olds can hang out and be "cool".

"smurfing" and when you go into another server under another name so the people in that server dont kick you, know who you are, etc...yeah, that's smurfing. Yet you expressly forbid such actions in your server and on the Forum. Hmm, ever heard of "lead by example"? nice one hypocrite.

And smurfing in SWAT4 is pretty much using false clan tags which I didnt do. I'm doing what any GC+ has the right to do, which is playing undercover to see how our potential members are playing when no other |SOG| members are watching, and you failed at that.

BTW normally in appeals people actually feel sorry and use that word in an appeal instead of just ranting on because they were caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

I think this thread needs a bit of clearing up, in terms of closure, so I'll explain to those of you reading this, that aren't quite aware of the problem :

When Section8 accused Mike of "smurfing" (joining server with a different name than what you're supposed to use), he was wrong. Mike was undercover to observe Section8, and this is a perfectly valid part of our recruitment process. Why?
- Because we feel that we have a great bunch of people in this community, and basically we're here to ensure |SOG| is a nice place for all of you to be at. This means, when potential new members want to join, we are very welcoming, but at the same time, we take extreme care to only let the right people join, as we realize any poor choice made by us will be a source of aggrivation for each and everyone of you for a long time. We will not accept that situation.

Some clans recruit for the sake of numbers, and it's without a doubt one of those clans that Section8 should have submitted his application for. We couldn't care less about numbers ; we want those that are here to be happy, and as seen here, letting Section8 wouldn't serve any justice to that purpose, which is also why he has been banned ; to stop him from causing further aggrivation upon our existing community.

To sum up ; what Mike did is quite alright, and we're not doing it to pry in your privacy, or because we're on some insane power-rush. We do it from genuiene care about our members and community, and as this example shows - we have good odds of finding the true person and treat them accordingly.

Job well done, Mike.
