I have Gold, Silvers and a couple of Bronze on my latest account but previous best score was around 270, i regularly get best Sniper award plus Most Kill assists and flag defends (im a claywhore :p) but with Sniper class its best to stay near the crowd but not too near ;) Dragon Vally is a good map to whore flag captures on but i prefer City maps where the action is more intense but the downside is you die a bit more :lol: If you are gonna run with Sniper class as your main kit its always best to be in a squad and be fairly close to the medic or have one sit with you spamming medic kits (Near invincibility :lol:) Snipers are pretty much hated by most Non Sniper class players mainly due to their range and 1 shot 1 shot kill potential this inturn forces them to hunt you down when you do kill them.

Hintikaari is an exceptional Sniper and very helpful with tips and stuff, TOMfoster is a great guy and fast too. Both these guys have helped me out recently with pointers and such and allowing me to tag into their squad and medic for them, watch the vids then watch them again .. then again i assure mirror the actions and you'll get even better and even higher scores :)

we all know my gaming time is limited tho compared to some, but is still own, like that game we played lastnight, me you and gordon ended up as one man armies in the same squad. :lol:

i think those guys from the other clan were getting pretty cheesed, lol but they took losing so well. :p

Hello BourneUK Did you know that the M95 sniper rifle is an effective weapon against Helicopters. It usually takes 4 hits with this rifle to bring down a helicopter and even less if the helicopter is already smoking. And takes even less time if you have two snipers with the same rifle in your squad.

Yh but M95 is not my fav gun ;) I got the L96A1 which my fav weapon :D I usually let AT deal with Heli's unless it is really on my case and knows where i am i tend to wait it out and pick off the gunner and pilot from a safe distance. This works well on maps like Mashtuur where choppers like to flag hop and usually hover over capture zone, giving me the chance to either kill or wound them and their chopper. I dont use M95 simply because it is not as effective in BF2 as it should be. For example i shoot a guy in the chest an he is still capable of running and breathing when in reality there would be a 4-5 inch hole thru the middle of him .. IF there was any of him left. Deka like's to use it i think but other than the L96A1 i will always opt for teh M24 which is very underrated in BF2 but is a very accurate and useful weapon.

bourne, you could have just said you dont use the M95 to shoot heli's because you cant hit a moving target :D, would have been better than all that ^^^ you wrote. Anyway, i usually play as sniper but im starting to fly the heli's alot more now. i cant seem to log into my SOG bf2 account and i cant make a new one...... but im working on the problem. will post some scores when i get some good ones...... dont hold your breath :)

Ha i actually tend to get more kills if they are moving thnx to the strange hitboxes in BF2 .. hate having to shoot a guy 3 times in the head with a sniper rifle before he falls down :lol: Another of the main reasons i dont use it coz it looks crap ...L96A1 looks nice and im quite picky like tht :p

well M95 is ok but in fact if you want to instantly kill the enemy L96A1 is better, lol

unfortunately i dont have it unlocked yet and can play with it on server which allows all weapon unlock .... however taking down choppers with M95 is a great thing especially if they dont even know what hit them :lol:

There is a way for you to get it Deka without buying the Special Forces or Booster pack.... but you'd have to let someone like me or someone else log in and play and join a server using ur account then it would think you own the correct games but thts up to you to decide ;)
