BF2 Weekend.

Anyone interested in a game this weekend ? I was hoping to get those tht signed up for teh SOG BF2 Squad in to a server for a little public game. I know some great servers to play on ;) Was thinking a couple of rounds of Infantry Only to help ease into it then move on to a Vehicle server for a few. Giving those tht are fairly new to BF2 a chance to squad up with some friends and Experienced Pub players and have some fun and maybe learn a few things in the process.

Saturday Evening was my proposed day but im flexible, anybody tht might wanna have a game just let me know ;)

Well i know i didnt sign up for the squad but im up for some rounds if im around :D

Sure, im thinking of it as a refresher :lol: Hopefully some of the newer players can see what the action is like an learn a few tricks and techniques, im no expert on it im a fairly good Sniper and im improving every day just from playing with good players and using squad based tactics. You will learn alot just from watching, copying and adapting the tactics used by some of the better players.

I play alot with the EAF clan and they have some epic Snipers (TOMFoster is one to watch out for) my KPD went from 1 to 1.5 in about 3 days just from watching him and being his medic, so it does help to die alot just to see what is going on and how it unfolds.

As i said all are welcome to join in, its nothing "Official" just a little warm up and some fun to boot. Ideally if we could get 2 squads, 1 on either team tht would be great. I thought I/O first to help learn basic moving and covering while in combat and Infantry Only really helps this, Vehicles would be more for the teamplay and coordination( Infantry supported by Armor or Armor supported by Air Power) I don't plan on making it into a lecture like "Dont do this, Don't do tht" but more of a session to get used to each other and knowing what our strengths and weaknesses are so to maybe tailor any official trainings to fit tht stencil.

I think it'll will be great fun and a benefit to us all, and with the use of Teamspeak it will definitely improve squad relations and communication.

If there is a specific time tht people want to start at let us know so we can make the time as to get as many of us on at once.

Okey Dokey, if we can agree a time to all get on xfire and ready to play .... 7-8pm GMT ok with everyone ? i can go later its not a problem for me, but i say a fairly early evening time to give us a chance to have a chat and stuff beforehand, then of course leaving a couple of hours for a few rounds on a couple of servers.

Anyone tht cant do this sort of time let me know im very flexible on it this weekend so anytime in the evening is good for me.

I have an Infantry server in mind to get us started on and also a Vehicle server with no armor or attack chopper plus a full contact vehicle server where nothing is disallowed

We can make a chatroom yh thts no problem, i will also post the details for the servers here so anyone joining later can see where we will be.

At this time XFIRE doesn't show me in game when i play BF2 an i can only send a msg if i alt-tab which is annoying but its no big deal.

Vehicle server can be random they are just about all the same.
