I had that message earlier in the day (when I was @ home) though now at work, it's nowhere to be seen :)

its probably something to do with the SQL server the site is hosted on

let me try to explain it as far as i understand.

at the time, there was a error in the file /index.php, onl ine 216

the line contains a piece of code named "Mysql_fetch_array()", wich is used to get several entries from a MySQL table. like for example, topics, posts and user information

ofcourse, between the () there's an "argument", to tell MySQL wich table, rows and fields it should get, appearantly in the code that part went wrong. and therefore the code got eval()'d (skipped)

you probably missed some info somewhere at the page, or got false ones (from cookies)

Do you still have that message ? ...

Yeah I'm only getting it when unregistered, then when logged in it goes away.. More an annoyance than a major issue ;)

Using the "old" black skin with grey text... And... I, today, got (while logged in):

Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in [path]/index.php(594) : eval()'d code on line 216

Doesn't bother me, but it's there.

Its only ever on the main page for me .. no where else except on main forum screen. As i said it doesn't seem to have any negative effect on my browsing but its just there

This error is due to the Bot IP updater for SOG clan members.

The error is only visible if you are a) a non member of the clan and b) if you are a member not logged in

I recently reworked the coding for the bot updater, however it appears I have made an error in some of the process.

This should be gone by the end of today.

Oh no!! Matt made an error...? Never!! :o ... :lol2: Thanks for letting us know what the issue is, glad it's nothing major. :)

same here, blue skin is fail safe... so old that all the new code won't bug it ;)

 More like so old... the new code doesn't even know what to do with it... haha. Oh and NOTHING is "Fail Safe". :p
