Hello everyone, we have decided to regroup the squad for Battlefield 2 and are only steps away from getting our own server again, first of all i would like to see who is interested in joining the squad? I dont want this to turn into a spam thread, please only post if you would like to join the squad.

still no booster pack but i tink it is not needed now but will mail ea to help me

You only need the Booster pack to play Armored Fury and Euro Forces, if you're having trouble with getting it installed UNINSTALL everything BF2 related (Clean Your registry of BF2 stuff too) then start again.

EA are useless and the chances of you getting a response tht'll actually help is slim so i wouldnt hold my breath.


I will help with any trainings etc if you need a target tht can fire back ;) cant say i will join any squads right now but will consider it :)

Yes you can join the squad, as long as you are active you can join. :)

everything is fixed now, 1.41 on, also Punkbuster updated and first try on public Server works fine :)

The first few weeks we will be getting used to the controls as a team, all will be posted in due time.

I don't have the game yet, but I'd like to sign up.

Please xFire or PM me excactly which gameversion I need to buy (I realize it's BF2, but there are hundreds of those :D), so I don't clutter up the thread with silly questions. I'll get the game ASAP this week. :)

I'd like to be in from the get go though, cause I'll need all the basic stuff too, thus me signing in :)

Its like update 1.41 but you have to download that after you get the game. The games name is just plain old Battlefield 2 nothing before or after ;)

If you buy now Nico the game will patch itself, i got the "Complete Collection" and it patches 1.41 after install of BF2 and the Booster Packs. If you get digitally from like EA store or what have you then you will most likely have to download the patch and do it tht way. Its only 550MB so won't take a lifetime to DL ;)

should be around somewhere in a double pack, if not very cheap by themselves. ;)

one will be up by tonight, as a 1 month trial, if everything is ok with the pings for everyone we will keep this one too. if not then we will switch locations next month.

after careful planning and consideration i decided to use the same location hoster as last time. no point going through the whole poll again.

i have been sittin back from this thread now for a wee while just to see whats happenin, i do play bf2 but i dont really want to commit to the squad guys as i wouldnt want to let yous down for training etc, but if yous are on and im at home and online count me in :D

So basically stick me down as a backup (im pretty much a support player anyway, that or medic/engineer, altho i have been known to climb a roof or 2 wi ma sniper rifle :D)

Good news then, the last server set up by Gordon was not bad ping for me with no real noticable lag (Ping Average from 90-130).

Although i can't take part in trainings in any Official sense, i am more than willing to lend a hand where i can, and as soon as you're up for a Clan match or even just some friendly practice let me know and maybe we can arrange a |SOG| vs =BIB= match. ( BIB is the clan i am now associated to for Battlefield if you didnt know :cool: )

Hi everyone, i just bought myself a new laptop, and battlefield 2, i liked the game so much (no expansions) and i would like to join this squad if possible, i just like to Special Forces and sneak beneath enemy lines and destroy their Command Center :D
My favorite map is Strike at Karkand, my ingame name is "parkkkk".
I like alot teamplay, but i rarely find guys that do it, so this is the main reason i want to join this squad.

EA is not necessary and is likely to get a reply really help that is thin if I would not hold my breath. I will reply to all formations, etc, if you need a target can retaliate THT I can not say who will join the team this time, but considers that.
