Dark Pro 09

Hello everyone,

I am delighted to announce the release of the new "face" of the SOG site.

Dark Pro 09 is the latest supported edition to the clan website making it the third ever official style used at Special Operations Group.

As always, the new default will take some getting used to for some if not many, but rest assured if you still prefer other styles they will still be availiable for your user selection.

Please note, the new default is now the ONLY supported style resulting in less glitches, less errors, faster loading & displays. Unfortunetly as time goes on and new site software is released, styles need updating to reflect the changes made in coding over new releases.

There could still be issues with the new style so please report anything you notice out of the ordinary here, or anything you think is missing as well as providing your valued feedback.

The new style is designed to be more professional looking, sleek, compact and visually easier to understand. Again, share your thoughts.

was using PRO Dark 3.7 lately but now i switch to PRO Dark 09 :)

will need a few days to inure with new style but its looking just great

... only one Suggestion, on the Members Rooster (http://www.sog-team.co.uk/forum/showroster.php) and the Forum Side (http://www.sog-team.co.uk/forum/index.php),
would be easyer to see, if the active Signs may light up to green or that Cyan Color, then you can see faster what is new and who is online,
but as i said, ... only as a Suggestion ;)

I found a error ...
I change my style in user cp to pro dark 09 and it doesn't change to the it keeps the one i was using before ...

• One of the first things I noticed (it was right after "WTH?!" came to my mind), is that the top menu bar (right under the banner, home-forum-arcade-etc) isn't centered like it used to be. :)

• Another thing is the images used for the icons you see when you type a new post (e.g. italic text, underlined, code (#), hmtl (<>), youtube or google) - I think those are shaded for the old Pro Dark, due to the gray "noise" on the outskirts, which added clarity by seperating them from the old background. In the new theme, this noise is visible, and looks rather strange. So if those icons are some, we can change ourselves, you can let me know where to find them, and I'll clean them up in Photoshop and hand them back. :)

[New ones] :

• Where it used to say "View Forum Members" on the Forum Index Page, it now says "View Forum Leaders" instead, and it displays the SOG roster rather than forum members.

• It appears the new text is too small? I love the size of it, but according to these lines in the shoutbox today, it could be an issue :

06:20 PM Nicoleise : If it's too small for you to read, Delta1, you can hold the CTRL key on your keyboard and use the scroll wheel on your mouse to zoom in or out.

The text looks ok to me, however, the shoutbox text does appear to be smaller for me. Might have something to do with the resolution of the monitor that affects the text of the new style.

iv got the lastest one, coz its all about changing with the times. :)

Edit- the new one doesnt seem to have an active SB for me, reverted back to the pro 3.7.

found a bug in the skin
i got the pro dark 3.7
and when I klick on the game server button
the game servers page is with the pro dark 9 skin.
i scrolled down and checked but there was standing that i was using the pro dark 3.7
so tha't's a bug ;)

I actually think it's a fixed setting, which makes that style show when on a certain page, but could be wrong.

Ok i found a glitch in the new skin/theme guys when a page of text is bigger and it doesnt word wrap correctly there appears to be a line all the way down the page. i have attached a screenshot, and i have tested it in all skins it is only apearent in the new one.

well i dont know about always but i could get it to do it all time in that instance after several page loads etc it still happens. but as tims says its only on pms....

ok it does happen wi posts to can be seen on some posts here (http://www.sog-team.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=14676) when using the pro 09.

It is where the post/pm is larger than the frame/border of the theme/skin but it paints the border in front rather than behind or not at all :D (on the far right)
