BF2 vs BF2142

So does anyone else here have Battlefeild 2142? I have and I think its a great game, but I know a lot of people that refuse to play it because BF2 is so great, but Ive never had BF2. Would it be worth buying?:confused:

If you're fed up with World War II-games like me Battlefield 2142 is the better choice. I'm only playing the demo, but I might buy it when I got the money.

@Night: Just saying "It's better, buy it!" isn't a good argument. Instead you should tell Carson/me/all the others why you prefer Battlefield 2 and what the pros and cons of both games are in your opinion. ^^

Well I have 1942 and (downloaded) 2142, but not 2 lol.

1942 and 2142 are horrible in my opinion, so I have a shattered opinion on BF2.

But from your opinions along with some other friends, I have come to the conclusion that BF2 is the best of all 3.

well for first,the new batlefield isn't realistic anymore and there aren't enough maps on there,and i like batlefield 2 much beter because it's more realisticer then 2142

Battlefield 2 is in modern settings and Battlefield "2142" is in the supposed ice age future.

But for which is better i suggest that you download the demo it has the hole game but only one map so you try it out :)

And you can also try the demo for 2142 .... lol

lmao nice opinions here but i only have BF2 demo, had other games to buy before it as im like asakura (shame but yea); Im sick of war games now after playing COD 1 & 2 and all of the C&C series :) even though I plan to get the new command & conquer 3 :p

Still i will get the games when I feel needed, until then ill stick to SWAT 4 :D

Yes I would have got it but couldnt be arsed to wait for it to download for a few levels :(. The game is out very soon anyway so I cant wait to get it on the first day. I pre-ordered it :)

I agree, the titan mode could have been something great.

I'm just holding out for ET: Quake Wars.
