Ok so im up and running please guys ignore the double plays etc. still getting used to winamp etc.

Try building your playlists first then saving them i think i had 2-3 playlists instead of just going on a song by song basis.

well i will build a couple mate but i want it to be very fluid so to speak and just play what i feel like when i feel like it and i want the guys at work to be able to stick on what they want to.

My Mental Mix is a the lastest in the fine line up of shows to be found on |SOG| Radio.

I will be playing a wide wide mix of stuff guys and it will be a very fluid line of songs with a vast selection to choose from, im also open to requests. Which can either be posted here or in the shoutbox and if i can i'll get to it. another option is to send me the file you want played thru x-fire

Also look out for my Movie Quotes Quiz. i will play some sound bites from famous movies and listeners can post their guesses in the shoutbox.
Dont ask coz there aint a prize :P

I will be broadcasting most afternoons from my workplace so if im off work im off air :) But should be most days mon-fri 10am-5pm

With the advent of a spanking new connection at home i will be up and broadcasting from tonite at random times throughout the next 2 weeks, (im off work for a fortnight)

This will also see the return of "The Movie Quote Quiz" were i will be sticking in some sound clips from some popular movie hits, listeners can xfire me with there guess to the movie titles, ya never know there may even be a prize for the winner :D

After a long time, I've tuned in again today to SOG Radio, just to listen to this guys music... what's his name?! :D

X your song selection, is huge (both awesome-like and size-like). You're playing songs I've heard LONG time ago or once (and which got stuck in my head). And of course not only those, but aswell many other genres!!

Also I like the way you play... yes playlists save time, but it's like with disco DJ. You can't just rush up with playlist and keep the loop on, it has to be dynamic, according to what people/you like/want at the moment or what is appropriate.

Same is with wish-songs, the song is played the next time it's possible, so usually it's the next song after actually played one. Awesome!!!

I agree, good selection so far, even the comedy, from what I heard at least, was pretty good. :)

It does help when the DJ is at the Radio and can update the music live, etc.. but sometimes it's not possible of course. Good job so far with it coming back online. :D

OK tonite at 8pm (site time) I will begin Xmarks Movie Theme Quiz

I will invite every1 to an Xfire chat room and ask that yous all tune in, if not tuned in and dont want to play dont join the chat room,

Throughout the evening i will play movie themes and listeners will post answers in the chatroom, at the end of the quiz the person with the most points wins the prize :D

So get tuned in and see how well you know you movies :)

XmarksTheScot is usually online there when broadcasting, so you can send requests to him there live. :) You can also use the shoutbox on the site if needed. :)

You surely understand how to entertain, your broadcasts are very entertaining, and you go out of your way to bring the listener into the action.

I suggested the Movie Theme Quiz to you today and 4 hours later it was ready, and it lasted for well over an hour! I'm really impressed by the efford you did and the very nice result. :) A huge and resounding Well done indeed. :)

Weldone mate, great to hear these things about your efforts for SOG and the radio.

My only regret is I missed it. I had a rather stressful encounter with the site coding so went to do some housework instead before my axe in the corner of the room got embedded into my laptop :D

The time I was there to listen to it, was nice how you set it all up. The Xfire group thing was pretty cool. If you end up getting as much listeners frequently we may need to increase the limit, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. If you ever reach the limit let me know. ;)

Just keep inviting ppl from xfire to a group as you have done so far and hopefully they'll decide to tune in and listen to what you have playing. :)

I think we did hit that wall yesterday actually, as Trin couldn't connect. She could later when some others had left. Not sure what the number of listeners was at the time, cause I was busy guessin', but it would be a plausible cause. :)
