View Full Version : Bf2 |SOG| Official squad
ok its time to formally assign a bf2 squad primaraly at this time for training. Then after the new year come's myself and gordon hope to be on the verge of sending our bf2 squad into action against other clans and such etc.
Below you will see the squad list. To sign to the squad please make a post, please dont sign up if u dont wish to take part in regular training sessions. As if this is the case your name will be removed from the squad list.

The training details will follow in due time, also this thread may be edited at any time by gordon or myself.
For training, the squad eventually will be split into groups- alpha, bravo, charlie etc as we only have a 16 slot server.
Edit- if a member misses a training session 3x or more he will be removed from the squad. If a member post's or has good reason for not attending he will remain.
Hey PG, count me in, iv not been active for a week or so had some problems, nut now im ready to get on with BF2 so you can count me in.
have you decided on the dates in which the training will be on? plz post cuz i may be able to.

Forum members can also join the bf2 squad. The more people we have for trainings the better. We hope to have some friendly matches arranged starting this week. Everyone that has an account on the SOG forums is welcome to join us. Once we decide to have matches with other clans only full SOG members can participate. During these matches the server will be locked and only those with the pass will be able to join. So if you are interested in joining this squad please make a post.

The following individuals said they would join the bf2 squad but have yet to make a post in this current thread: bob, Christopher, DeKA, Miss Trinity, Mr Blobby, PlayerX_Scot, puni, tctransporter, TriggerFox
I need a few more names before I start posting the training details.
Count me in, I'll do my best to be at the trainings, etc... just depends on what day/time they are held whether or not I'll be able to make them.
im not able to run the game :( at the moment as i cant reinstall the system i wont be able to play for next 2-3 weeks

I have to do a reinstall, and then I should be good to go as well. My friend bought the game, and so I might convince him to join us in gaming, no promises though, as he might hate it. See? I'm trying to help. Anyways, if the time of the trainings agree with my very busy schedule, *laughs* you can count me in.
About time you try to help :p :joke: It's appreciated, if your friend is into games like BF2 then i'm sure they'll like it :)

i know mate but posting for me at the moment is pointless as i cant join the game :(
im interested in but have to sort the problems with pc first, so as i said for 2-3 weeks i wont be able to play

Hey. Welcome to the |SOG| BF2 squad. I recommend you to check around the BF2 section to keep yourself updated, and take a look here (http://www.sog-team.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=11818) and specify what kit you would like to train with. I know you are new to all the kits, but that's what the training is all about, getting to know all the functions, the positives and the negatives.

I know BOUGHT a game!!!!! you know where you go to a shop and hand over cash and they give you a disc for those of you that don't remember that.:)
So i will be available to play on |SOG| server. I'm not saying i'll join the squad just yet as i ain't that good but will give the game and the server a go.

Well i think you should come to the squad practices to help familiarise yourself with online play as it is quite fast paced. you are under no obligation to join the squad i just think you would benefit from the Experience of players like Trinity who i follow round the Battlefield like lil puppy :D Also i could do with the target practice you woulld provide so come alomg and have fun :)

well mate, its not about being good. We are training at working as a team mostly, you are welcome to attend the sessions ofc we would like to see you there. :)
im sorry but i have to step out from BF2 squad as im not able to run this -removed- game at my pc with my current configuration;
from 5 hrs today i try to run it and sort out the problem with restarting system - without any success
as i have enough of re-installations, updating etc - cause its no point in it i put it out for now.... dont know how long and if ever ill try to play it again

Just to confirm to everyone, nagi, deka and puni and miss trinity have been removed from the squad list as they have resigned.
i will be able to train on sunday, its a shame we lost the squad members :(
For now, I will have to resign. In February I will explain to you why with a post in the absence room.
Until I leave, I'll be available to be asked to join regular games. Good luck to the BF2 squad.
